was searching for something on my cellphone and came across this pic; did a search on google and got the website and now this artist is one of my favs especially since I am from Boston, MA.

I live in Beachmont, Massachusetts - and the rendering by Maurice Prendergast is wonderful. The same rocks are still visible at low tide at the beach ("Short Beach")as displayed in his painting. I live just up the street from this beach and it is still beautiful.

Was on vacation at a Inn on the Maine coast when I came across a puzzle entitled "Low Tide Beachmont" -- Well I live in Prendergast's Beachmont -- and the Low Tide is actually at our neighborhood beach, Short Beach ! The same rocks are still in view at low tide. I am involved with a community group, Beachmont Improvement Committee whose mission is to preserve and revitalize this area. We are thrilled that Mr. Prendergast also the beauty of Beachmont, our beloved "Hill by the Beach."
